Synopsis

A wealthy socialite adopts one of the "forgotten men", a homeless person, and introduces him to her family as their new butler. All kinds of consequences ensue and, by the end of the book, nothing is what it appeared to be at the beginning. This book became a popular movie of the time with the same name.
