Treason
Synopsis
A group of people attempts to create rule by an intellectual elite after banishing the seemingly metal-poor planet Treason. The descendants of these anti-democratic thinkers are imprisoned on the planet. As years pass by, they form nations which warred and allied with one another to gain advantages over their rivals in the race to build a starship. The metal deficiency on Treason forces the nations to obtain it through a system of barter using teleportation devices known as Ambassadors.
