Synopsis
"In 2015 Anna George joined Verona Group, a designer and seller of luxury women’s apparel, as a sales manager. Her territory comprised high-end specialty clothing and department stores, such as Neiman Marcus, in the western United States. Verona Group’s CEO and founder Elise Smith had recruited George, who had spent nearly 20 years in sales with another fashion label and was well regarded in the industry. Several customers had mentioned George’s name when Smith was looking to bolster her company’s small but growing presence in George’s region."
